Wera Mahne

Wera Mahne read cultural studies and aesthetic practice at the University of Hildesheim and at the School for Dramatic Arts in Porto. She stages plays for children and adolescents. She directed and held workshops at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, the FFT Düsseldorf, the Theater Freiburg and the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, among others. In 2016 she received the advancement award for dramatic arts of the city of Düsseldorf and her production “Mädchen wie die“ (“Girls Like Those”) at the Junge Schauspiel Hannover was invited to the 2019 AUGENBLICK MAL! festival.

Manuel Schöbel

Manuel Schöbel (*1960) read theatre studies at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. In 1984 he became head dramaturge at the Theater der Jungen Generation in Dresden. From 1991 to 2005, he was artistic director of the Carrousel-Theater an der Parkaue in Berlin. From 2006 to 2011 he worked in the same position at the Mittelsächsische Theater Freiberg and Döbeln. He is a director and playwright, since 2011 artistic director and since 2012 managing director of the Landesbühnen Sachsen in Radebeul. From 1990 to 2010 he was deputy chair of ASSITEJ and chair of the advisory board of the KJTZ.
